Rates effective December 1, 2025 (the 2026 pay year), straight from the VA table.
The facts
- 0110% = $180.42/mo · 20% = $356.66 · 30% = $552.47 · 40% = $795.84 · 50% = $1,132.90 · 60% = $1,435.02 (veteran alone).
- 0270% = $1,808.45/mo · 80% = $2,102.15 · 90% = $2,362.30 · 100% = $3,938.58 (veteran alone).
- 03With a spouse at 100%: $4,158.17/mo. Spouse on Aid & Attendance at 100%: add $201.41/mo. Each additional child under 18 adds more (age- and rating-dependent).
- 04Combined ratings are not additive - VA rounds the combined value to the nearest 10%. A 50% + 30% can land at 80%, not 80.
- 05VA disability compensation is not taxable federal income and never counts in AGI.
